Board reasoning
The Board states that the Veteran withdrew the appeal prior to the decision, leaving no allegations of errors for appellate consideration and thus the Board lacks jurisdiction and dismisses the appeal. It notes withdrawal may be made by the claimant or authorized representative and that the withdrawal terminates the matter before the Board. The decision emphasizes there is no further adjudicative issue to decide beyond the withdrawal.

ORDER
The appeal concerning entitlement to eligibility to enroll in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)'s Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers (PCAFC) is dismissed.
FINDING OF FACT
On May 29, 2026, prior to the promulgation of a decision in the appeal, the Board received notification from the Veteran that a withdrawal of this appeal was requested.
CONCLUSION OF LAW
The criteria for withdrawal of an appeal by the Veteran have been met. 38 U.S.C. § 7105; 38 C.F.R. § 20.205.
REASONS AND BASES FOR FINDING AND CONCLUSION
The Veteran served on active duty from October 1969 to October 1972, from May 1973 to May 1977, and from September 1983 to July 1985. M. W., the Veteran's spouse, submitted a joint application for PCAFC with the Veteran to serve as his Primary Family Caregiver. 38?U.S.C. § 1720G(a); 38?C.F.R. § 71.25.
The Board may dismiss any appeal which fails to allege specific error of fact or law in the determination being appealed. 38 U.S.C. § 7105. An appeal may be withdrawn as to any or all issues involved in the appeal at any time before the Board promulgates a decision. 38 C.F.R. § 20.205. Withdrawal may be made by a claimant or by his or her authorized representative. Id. In the present case, the Veteran has withdrawn this appeal and, hence, there remain no allegations of errors of fact or law for appellate consideration. Accordingly, the Board does not have jurisdiction to review the appeal, and it is dismissed.
